Digital Marketing Manager (Contract to Perm)

Position Overview:
The Manager of Digital Marketing will help plan, implement and oversee digital marketing campaigns to drive traffic and increase customer engagement across all digital platforms, including the Watch OWN mobile app, OWN YouTube channel, and newsletters. The position reports into the Director, Digital Marketing and is based in Los Angeles.

  • Partner with Director of Digital Marketing and content team to manage and implement email program, including testing and optimization and growth strategy
  • Manage marketing initiatives for the Watch OWN mobile app including push notifications, ad trafficking and performance tracking
  • Offer strategic insights on site analytics and incorporate into all marketing initiatives
  • Partner with all departments on digital marketing initiatives, including legal, public relations, programming, consumer marketing and research
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns utilizing OWN's robust internal marketing channels (email and site marketing), and paid media
  • Work closely with creative and web development teams to develop, test and optimize marketing initiatives
  • Team with research to mine customer data to drive optimization of programs
  • Oversee customer care as well as community management to maximize customer engagement
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and online trends for product offerings, online marketing and analytics tools
Required Qualifications:
  • Education:  Bachelor's degree
  • Experience: 5+ years digital marketing experience - media/ entertainment experience preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Demonstrated experience across all digital marketing channels from email marketing, social media and paid media and ability to drive conversion from a company site
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, self-starter and ability to work independently as well as being part of a growing team
  • Strong verbal, written and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize projects and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to use data to drive business objectives
  • Knowledge of web analytics tools such as Google Analytics
