Overview:
 
We’re seeking a bright, energetic, and dedicated team player with strong, versatile computer science fundamentals. Must have a thorough understanding of application development methodology, including design, development, unit testing, and documentation. The software engineer is primarily responsible for the coding and development of web applications and apis.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Provide maintenance support for current applications
  • Design, develop and unit test new web applications
  • Thoroughly document applications as needed
  • Actively provide feedback and support to application/project technical specification process    
  • Interface with producers, client software engineers and QA during implementation and deployment process
 
Requirements:
  • BS/MS in Computer Science or related field preferred
  • 3-4+ year’s experience as a software developer using Perl or PHP
  • Should have a working knowledge of HTML and Javascript
  • Experience with an RDBMS is required
  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills and ability to effectively coordinate development activities with other staff
  • A good understanding of development tools and processes
  • Capable of developing new approaches to complex design problems
  • Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and manage own time and deliverables  
  • Experience and/or interest in designing and maintaining high-volume, high performance, scalable systems is a big plus
